I could easily solve it for you, but I do not know if I created a pattern of resource use on this site in Yahoo.
I firmly believe that Yahoo tools for drawing diagrams and such a thing as "Equation Editor" to mathematical equations, which add so necessary in mathematics and physics, you should write. And because the lack of these features on this site, we lose a lot digiting of our time. I do not know how the site administrators of interest in its approach.
Anyway, I watched the answers without the Venn diagram that can lead to easily visualize and solve the problem does admit, of course, the problem can be solved without the Venn diagram, as done here below.

Construct a Venn diagram and answer the following questions:
a) How many cashew just like it? 53-38 = 15 years
to be loved b) How many peanuts it? Between 85 and 38 = 47 years.
c) How many have one or the other or both? 15 +47 +38 = 100. Answer.
Make 2 circles overlap. Place a circle of those who, like peanuts, the other those who, like cashew nuts, and the overlap of their peers.
